Overview
The down mixer forms part of an image reject mixer architecture some parts of which reside in DSP.
Features
  • Output is chopped to reduce the output noise by mixing flicker noise out of the frequency band of interest
  • Is fully differential to reduce even order distortion products whilst improving noise rejection and reducing noise
  • Large swing on the LO inputs is used as the mixer is operated in a switching mode and this reduces noise bursts at the zero crossings
