Overview

The AltraFlex™ AES-XTS Volume Encryption Accelerator offers 8 GBps of high strength
AES-XTS encryption for stored data. The device uses the AltraCore AES-XTS IP core to provide high speed full duplex data encryption for storage servers.

The AES-XTS encryption mode is specifically designed for data storage applications and is
compliant with NIST and FIPS encryption standards.

The AltraFlex AES-XTS Volume Encryption Acceleration is a complete solution for data
storage security. It is integrated with the Altior Volume Encryption Service for Windows and
the Altior Simple Key Management Service for Active Directory.

The Altior Simple Key Management Service uses the Windows Crypto API and Active Directory to provide secure key storage and key recovery services that allow encrypted disks to be migrated and recovered by administrative users.
