Overview:

The Image Characterization LogiCORE™ IP generates a set of statistics about each image frame passed to it. This image frame statistical data is used to describe an image. When registered or written to memory, it can be retrieved and used by software processes and applications to control other downstream hardware blocks or software functionality in complex video applications.
