Overview
Xilinx provides an On-Screen Display core for rendering text, graphics and Alpha blending in video systems. The Xilinx On-Screen Display LogiCORE™ IP provides for basic video overlay and blending functions for video systems. The core provides three hardware accelerated functions including multiple alpha blending layer compositor, simplified graphics processing unit (boxes), and simplified text processing unit.
