Overview

The core allows customers to build an IEEE compliant multi standard 802.11 MAC IC or to integrate MAC functionality into a complex SoC for the next generation wireless LAN market. The WiLD 802.11a/b/g MAC supports high data rates of 54Mbit/s for current standards. It is prepared for the upcoming 802.11e standard (QoS) and the 802.11i standard (Security) and "future proof".
