Overview

The PE-SCR-AVL is a low cost, high performance smart card reader which controls the communication between smart card device and the CPU through host system bus.

The core supports the ISO/IEC 7816-3 and EMV2000 4.0 specification with full feature. The clock rate and bit (baud) rate of the core can be adjusted. The core can handle asynchronous half-duplex character transmission and block transmission. The core also provides the Avalon bus interface to easily integrate into Avalon bus based system.
