KineticSystems Releases New CompactPCI/PXI Isolated Bridge Signal Conditioning Module with Built-in ADCs

Share

LOCKPORT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KineticSystems today announced its new CP248 CompactPCI/PXI module with 4 channels of isolated bridge signal conditioning feeding 4 independent 16-bit Analog to Digital Converters (ADC). This single-width solution incorporates both signal conditioning and ADC in a single module to eliminate the need for complex field wiring, reducing system noise and increasing measurement accuracy.

“The CP248 is a powerful, flexible and cost-effective data acquisition solution that will meet both the needs and budgets of our customers”

“The CP248 is a powerful, flexible and cost-effective data acquisition solution that will meet both the needs and budgets of our customers,” said Patrick Cassady, Executive Vice President of DynamicSignals. “We are so excited to be able to offer the CP248 at 1/5th the size of volume of its predecessor and at approximately half of the price,” Cassady added.

The CP248 comes with Plug and Play drivers for configuring and using the device and application examples to illustrate its basic functionality. In addition, KineticSystems includes a copy of SoftView, a simple yet powerful tool that integrates KineticSystems’ entire line of PXI/Compact PCI instruments into a single software package to allow multiple instruments to be managed simultaneously.

Typical applications include use in automotive test cells, industrial monitoring and control, vibration and torque measurements, automatic test equipment (ATE), isolation to prevent ground loops, etc. Note that depending upon the application, the bridge signal conditioning and ADC functionalities can be used independent of one another.

The CP248 is available immediately starting at $1975 USD per channel with delivery in 4-6 weeks.
