Synopsys Professional Services Adopts Giga Scale IC's InCyte™ Chip Estimation System
Cupertino, Calif., February 6, 2006 --Giga Scale Integration Corporation (Giga Scale IC) announced today that Synopsys Professional Services, the IC design consulting organization within semiconductor design software leader Synopsys, Inc., has become the latest IC design services leader to adopt Giga Scale IC's InCyte chip estimation system to perform early die size estimation.
InCyte is emerging as the de facto standard for chip estimation among ASIC vendors and design services firms. It enables fast estimations at the earliest stages of the design cycle, when the greatest cost savings can be realized.
